Net Bulk Scales
The calibratable bulk scales can be used for receiving and loading bulk materials, for dosing within process chains up to bagging solutions according to the net principle or in multiple versions for packaging machines. Bulk scales operate according to the net principle as automatic scales and are available in various sizes and variants with a capacity of up to 1,000 t/h as totalizing scales (SWT) or 500 bulk units as net outfeed scales (SWA).
The scales are characterised by a weighing hopper suspended from load cells, which is filled to the target weight via a dosing device and then emptied via pneumatically actuated bottom flaps. In combination with modern weighing electronics (e.g. Systec-ITxE series or Siemens-SIWAREX), high performance is achieved with high accuracy and calibration capability. The equipment includes pneumatic equipment and electrical wiring to terminal boxes or control cabinets.
Completion with pre- and post-tank as well as suitably designed racks is possible.
By using specially approved components and additional earthing measures, the scales can be designed for use in ATEX areas. A corresponding type certification of the entire series is available for zones 20 to 22.

They can be used for high-performance bagging systems or for feeding a packaging system. In conjunction with the right dosing device, they can be used for a wide variety of bulk materials and, with the appropriate equipment, are suitable for potentially explosive areas.
Electronic net bulk scales
Bulk scales as "automatic scales for totalizing" are used, for example, for receiving and storing grain or malt in silos or for filling large containers, for loading into trucks, wagons or ships with a specified target quantity. The scales can be supplemented with pre- and post-containers, dedusting devices and equipped for use in potentially explosive areas in accordance with the ATEX directive.
